Britney Spears  has been busily promoting her new album, Femme Fatale, with appearances on Good Morning America, Ryan Seacrest's KROQ program, and even Jimmy Kimmel Live, but access to the artist apparently comes at a price Carson Daly wasn't prepared to pay. The late night Last Call host and radio personality has been complaining that he nixed plans to speak with Britney when her handlers asked for too much control over the interview.
Carson took to Twitter to voice his displeasure with Britney's management after they requested that he pre-record his interview with her and send it to them for review before it aired.

After some Britney fans called Carson "unprofessional," the radio host took it personally .

"I'M UNPROFESSIONAL? FAKING AN ENTIRE INTERVIEW? jst shocked her mgmt won't let her do a normal interview. She probly doesn't even know. I've known and supported her since she was 15. This has nothing to do w her. Just her ppl. pre-recording it was NO prob- her mgmnt taking and editing the tapes overnight was the issue."

Britney's publicity team has been notoriously careful in how they market the star in the past few years while Britney herself has been focusing on the music, and has said she tries not to pay attention to any negative publicity.

"I have such an amazing family that supports me in everything that I do. We brush it off. When you're young and you're starting out a lot of it can be a little annoying. You get to a point where it's enough already and you just brush them all off and everyone kind of laughs at them,” she said.
