I miss my cousins :(
This is what I imagine the Justice song, TTHHEE PPAARRTTYY would look like in a lomo photo. I took this pic at an office party at Manny Pacquiao’s club in Greenbelt. Shot with my Holga TLR.
ANGRY BIRDS vs. PINOYS?!?….OMG!!!
Angry Birds is an exclusive property of ROVIO. This is a fan-art video.
Misuse of Freedom and Democracy, that is the game of Philippines’ leading media companies, which are owned by Oligarchs.
Philippines is not a country of DEMOCRACY as shown in BBC and Al Jazeera documentaries. It is an Oligarchy, a country ruled by few rich families. Few rich families who are also elected as political dynasties. Their family businesses benefiting from immense government funds called PORK BARREL.
The sad state of the Philippines is being covered up by the media, blaming its poor citizens who commits crime fueled by hunger. While the same media glorifies People Power Revolution. A supposed revolution attended by only 2% of the population.

get it right :P
“…the June 12 proclamation of independence addressed to ‘civilized nations’ fell on deaf ears. The Filipinos did not know of the diplomatic politicking of the Big Powers, but of course their leaders were aware of the London Spectator article.
They remained true to their ideals. Aguinaldo issued his ‘call to Unity’ message on June 23, calling upon his countrymen to unite in a ‘noble association.’ His decree of the same date established the Revolutionary Government, with the explicit objective of striving to attain independence. From here on, the documents of the revolution consistently hewed to the rule that the liberation of Filipinas rested on the Filipinos alone.

Proud to be Pinoy. Filipino Pride. F-illest-pino.
I cry for my country. I cry for what my country has gone through. I cry for what my country is going through now. And I cry for what my country will go through if we continue being blinded from the truth. It doesn’t matter if you are an Aquino loyalist or a Marcos loyalist, the truth of the matter is our country is in shambles. How many more starving/dying children do we need to see before we start a change? How many elderly do we need to see until we realize something in this picture is not right? How many do we have to lose until we say enough is enough. We say that the Filipino race is the best there is. But for being what? For having one person be skilled in boxing? For having a singer from our country be recognized worldwide? What else can the Philippines bring to the table to be truly proud of? Not much. At least through the eyes of many Filipinos. But here we are, throwing our pride into other people faces. We put it on our shirts, hats, shoes, and cars. Like what is said in the video, do you know what you’re really proud of? I am proud to be Filipino, I really am. Actually, I am proud of what the Philippines used to be. I am proud of kulturang Pilipino. Not the materialistic/shallow culture that we have created for ourselves now.
In the Filipino society, we are easily swayed to different ideas. As long as who we are listening to is charismatic, then we are okay. But if we realize we don’t like what is happening, we quickly revolt. We point fingers and start rallies because “it has worked in the past”. What Filipinos should be proud of is how easily we can be influenced. How easily our minds could changed. It’s sad but that is the fact. We quickly recognize people that does good but do not let ourselves be influence by their deeds…therefore, their legacy dies with them.
The Philippines is a land of dreamers but not enough makers. We dream of a better Philippines but we don’t take the necessary steps achieve that dream. We have ideas but not plans. We take pride of what others has done for the sake of the Philippines and Filipinos and yet we don’t emulate that. It is as if we are satisfied being an audience.
We demand respect but does nothing to gain it. We allow ourselves to be corrupted by wealth and power. A large percentage of Filipinos are catholic and yet a large percentage of them does not act like it. It’s hard to watch your country sink. It’s hard to imagine that so many Filipinos that are capable of doing things are satisfied with this illusion.
