Alright guys, so I guess my tumblr should start up now that I’m a week away from my trip to Korea. I think that I will follow suit of my friend JT (check her out at http://sleep-eat-paint-repeat.tumblr.com/) and begin by telling you a bit about myself, where I’m going, and why. This will be a supplement to my video blog, which will be linked later, and will focus on my stay in Seoul, South Korea this summer.

Well without further ado, let me introduce you to myself ^^

Me!

Seoul, South Korea

Eventually I would like to teach in Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, South Korea and somewhere in South America.

I’m making a start, in six weeks I should be about to experience my first full day in Korea.  I can’t believe how quickly it’s gone.

Last month, the U.S. Navy intercepted a North Korean ship suspected of carrying missile technology to Myanmar and forced it to return home, according to sources quoted by the New York Times. The ship was North Korean, but was registered in Belize.

A probe into allegations of embezzlement and illegal lending at small savings banks has exposed a culture of corruption that is “rampant not only among financial regulators but also in other parts of society, ranging from the judiciary, tax authorities and military through to the civil service,” South Korean President Lee Myung-bak acknowledged in a radio address Monday.
