Actress Lee Yeon Hee is likely to star in an upcoming film alongside actor Jo In Sung, according to an official related with the movie.
The official said that Lee will play the main female lead in the pic whose title can be translated into ‘martial arts of the fist,’ which will be the first project Jo takes on since being relieved of his mandatory military services in May.
Lee’s agency SM Entertainment gave a more cautious response, confirming that the actress was “eyeing the movie positively” but has yet to make a final decision.
The upcoming movie, set to be helmed by director Park Gwang-hyun of “Welcome To Dongmakgol” (2005), will be a sci-fi fantasy pic about a senior in high school who gains superhuman strengths when he sees injustice and ends up saving the woman he falls in love with as well as her village.
The movie plans to go into shoot during the latter half of this year when it finishes casting its main characters.
