Crossing the Thin Line.

Happy Philippine Independence Day!

Today marks our 113th year of independence from Spanish colonial rule.

Foo Fighters - The Best of You

“‘Best of You’ is a song of resistance. It’s about the refusal to be taken advantage of by something that’s bigger than you, or someone you’re in love with. It’s the fight in the face of adversity,”

- Dave Grohl

Happy Independence day… be thankful that you are able to sit in a computer to read this or drink a goddamn coffee while taking a picture of yourself without any restrictions or any force against your freedom.

Rizal depicted as McDo mascot:

“…artist Roel Obemio… portrayed the 19th-century icon as a McDonald’s mascot totting an iPod.

Rizal may not be a product of UP (which was established 12 years after his death), but the institution can be considered the “realization” of Rizal’s dream of a national university, according to Mirano.”
