Lady Gaga Eats Letterman's Paper Notes: 'Born This Way' Star Gets Funny (VIDEO)

Here's an incentive to buy the physical disc version of Lady Gaga's new album, "Born This Way": the liner notes may just be delicious.
Gaga continued her media blitz on Monday, promoting her new album and discussing her egg-vessel on "The Late Show with David Letterman." She gave a very spiritual answer to Dave's question about the egg, saying, "It's a place where I can meditate and experience rebirth, so I just get inside of it and close it, and then when I feel that I have been reborn spiritually, I just, whoo, come out."
Then, it was on to the issue of la femme Osbourne; or, eating Barbie doll heads while on stage, in the style of Ozzy Osbourne's famed bat head diet.
Before Letterman could even finish his question, Gaga proved her dietary courage, popping his ripped up notes in for a snack. Apparently, though, it didn't quite have the flavor of her Barbies, or, of course, dresses. But hey, it's one way Gaga can separate herself from Madonna.

Lady Gaga: Madonna Ripoff?

Gaga MadonnaAs far as show business careers go, there are few better to mimic than Madonna's. A megastar for nearly 30 years, the singer/actress/director has become more an icon than celebrity, the kind of shining, one-name-only fixture in our cultural sky. As such, you couldn't really blame a singer for following that path to success. But Lady Gaga doesn't want to hear that.
For the singer who claims she was "Born This Way," her originality is currency, and accusations of facsimile are akin to calling her a fraud. Unfortunately for Gaga, those accusations have been coming in more frequently than ever, even if she thinks they're "retarded."
With her Catholic-challenging dance beats and ever-changing style, Gaga is most certainly the most successful pop star since Madonna, but she'd prefer the comparisons end at Billboard position comparisons. Still, the newest chapter in The Wrap's three part look at Gaga, whose album dropped on Monday, probes into the two stars, finding similarities between diva past and present too striking to ignore.
That being said, estimates are that Gaga's album should sell one million copies in its first week; it's already at the top of the iTunes charts. So if she is a Madonna a ripoff, she can at least say she's the absolute best one yet

Lady Gaga Hates Pants

A Pantsless Evolution
Lady Gaga has changed her look many times since she began her ascent up the pop music charts, but she's remained committed to one thing: Pantslessness. Here, we celebrate Lady Gaga's loyalty to a lack of coverage.
Granny Gear
Who would've guessed that floral granny panties would make such a statement? When paired with a pope hat and homemade arm guards, that is.

Space Pants
Only Gaga would dare walk the streets of Sydney in a leotard, lace-up boots and a leather jacket. Note the careful use of accessories when flashing it around town: Gloves and sunglasses are a must!
Glittering Gaga
Here, a classic Gaga moment. The superstar posed with young fans wearing nothing more than a rubberized bra, torn fishnets and a pair of crystal-encrusted panties. Such is her way!
Skivvies Singer
Lady Gaga may be selling out consecutive shows at Madison Square Garden, but once upon a time she was shaking her pantsless thing in homemade costumes as an opener for New Kids on the Block. Think she'd let them open for her now?

Lady Gaga has been tested for the rare auto-immune disease lupus, according to an interview she gave to a British newspaper.
But the superstar singer, who admitted she recently had to call an ambulance in Tokyo because she was having trouble breathing, claims she doesn't want to worry fans by telling them the results of the test.
In a lengthy interview with the Times of London, Gaga revealed she'd been suffering from heart palpitations and fatigue recently, and has been tested for the disease, which causes the immune system to attack the body.
Gaga says her aunt Joanne died of the disease and cryptically points out to the interviewer that she retains a connection to her.
“I’m very connected to my aunt, Joanne, who died of lupus," Gaga told the Times. "It’s a very personal thing. I don’t want my fans to be worried about me.”
“The other day,” Gaga said. “In Tokyo. I was having trouble breathing. I had a little oxygen, then I went on stage. I was OK. But like I say, I don’t want anyone to worry.”

Lady Gaga's 'Judas' Video: Jesus Loves Motorcycles

On Thursday morning, Lady Gaga's highly anticipated video for "Judas," her new album's second single, hit the Internet. Before the video was even made, Catholic groups asserted their outrage over the content of the single, which includes the line "I fell in love with Judas, baby" in the chorus. Considering Gaga portrays a crop top-wearing Mary Magdalene who gets water poured on her in a hot tub, they're probably not going to like the Laurianne Gibson-directed video, either.

The video's concept is shockingly literal: Gaga's character falls in love with Judas and betrays her cholo Jesus. There are disappointingly familiar dance sequences (borrowed from the Bad Romance video, which borrows from myriad other videos) and close-ups of very pretty makeup. Also, bikinis.
